I was lured into the two-storey thrifting emporium with the huge 3-for-100 signs beaming at me from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The second floor of the relatively new ukay store near Carriedo was visible from the LRT; I pass by that area everyday but I have never ventured inside the store. Until now. Everything save for the black wool skirt was bought from there; I bought that one from Baguio. That is a Hussein Chalayan skirt bought at 150php, my best thrift find ever.
Thank goodness thrift stores exist; I would be a sad woman without them.
